HOW TO TEACH KHAIRA TO SPEAK

The best way to teach your child to smile is to smile at your child.
The best way to teach your child to eat is to eat in front of your child and share your food.
The best way to teach your child to read is to read to and with your child.
The best way to teach your child to do anything ... is to be there with them and be their example
The best way to teach your child to speak is to speak to her - all the time! About anything and nothing

1. Explain to her what I’m doing or what things am I using

- how often a baby hears talking early is important. Babies learn to speak, without being taught to speak, simply by being spoken to and by hearing others around them speak.
2. Say your thoughts out loud
3. Sing to your child
4. Read to them. It helps them learn speech and how it's put together.
5. Teach your child sign language. A child understands a lot more than they can say

only because their vocal chords aren't matured enough.

Salam kak..tumpang lalu...read ur blog n all entries...very interesting life..with the growing up daughter..nway..regarding to give he rthe best education...it is good to start with teach her with 'huruf2 jawi...so do Iqra'...no need to rush for English..if u always train he to speak English..Insyaallah she able to understand it but don't forger the vocabulary for Malay is too important...I might not have any experience in growing up a kid but just to drop an idea...according to what I'd seen before n tru my experience..just let her enjoy what she likes to do...

Very good suggestion..actually, i've tried to teach her Iqra' 1 before, but she can't concentrate. Eventually, i gave up. ( my fault -tak sepatutnya cepat give up dalam mendidik anak ). I'm not too fanatic in teaching her english because my first language at home is still malay, i just want her to have exposure in english. Syukur alhamdulillah, setakat ni banyak words yang dia tahu both in english and malay. Hopefully she can master in both language by age 4.
